Sahar is entering her final year of study in the Hons. Behavioural Psychology degree program at Seneca College, and is planning to pursue her post-graduate degree in Applied Disability Studies. With a specialization in applied behaviour analysis, Sahar is intrigued by the link between cognitive and behavioural processes as they relate to our environments, and she is keen to bring this science to those living with different forms of acquired brain injuries. The goal of her practice is to optimize and shape various environments to the advantage of each individual, so that they can take charge of their independence and integration within the community, and ultimately live fuller lives. In her free time, Sahar is an active member of her community and is a dedicated peer coach for young adults living on the Autism spectrum.
